C.S. Lewis' Screwtape Letters for release in 2008

Wormwood & Walden

It's official. Variety is reporting that Douglas Gresham, Ralph Winter and company has finished negotiating a deal with Walden Media to co-produce C.S. Lewis' Screwtape Letters for release in 2008. The film will make the third Lewis property for Walden, following the 2007 release of Prince Caspian. The film will be co-released by Winter's production company, best known for the Fantastic Four franchise and Walden's Bristol Bay (Ray). Should be very interesting to see how they translate the book's somewhat unique concept into a compelling movie
