We may soon have an opportunity to remove the dreadful and deadly drug RU-486 (the “abortion pill”) from the U.S. marketplace. But we need your help.

A group of conservative members of the U.S. House of Representatives has written House Majority Leader John Boehner a letter demanding a vote on a bill that would pull RU-486 from the market because of the health risks that it poses to women.

The Food and Drug Administration has already recognized five confirmed deaths associated with the use of RU-486 and has received eight-hundred and forty reports of serious complications.

The bill would withdraw FDA approval of the drug and send it back for review in light of the medical record. Christian Coalition will be working hard to push members of Congress on this issue, but to be truly effective we need your support.
